DIY POO-POURRI SPRAY

– 1/2 tsp. rubbing alcohol or vodka. – 30 drops essential oil. – 1 tsp. vegetable glycerin (or a squirt of dish soap) – water to fill the rest of the bottle. – 4 oz. glass spray bottle. – measuring spoons – label (optional) – Small funnel

Assemble your supplies in the kitchen or bathroom. Rubbing alcohol can be substituted for vodka and vegetable glycerin can be replaced with a squirt of dish soap. Use whatever is cheapest or you already have on hand.

Measure out the ingredients and add them to a small bottle.

Gently swirl the bottle to combine the ingredients. Give it a bit of a shake before each use.

Spray the homemade Poo-Pourri on the surface of the toilet bowl water 2-5 times.

The oils in the spray create a barrier on the water. When you poop the feces and their stink molecules get trapped under the oily barrier, preventing the bad smells from floating all over the room.

Flush the excrement, toilet paper, oils and your worries down the toilet.

Repeat if necessary. A courtesy flush will help make this product work even better.
